New I-Smell Research Project Launched

The I-smell project, a partnership involving UCL, UEA, Fifth Sense, OWidgets and Future Care Capital, was launched on Friday 14 October with the research team gathering together for their first meeting to kick the project off.

The team in the photograph includes Professor Marianna Obrist (Professor of Multisensory Interfaces), Professor Carl Philpott (UEA) and Duncan Boak (CEO of Fifth Sense).

The I-smell project itself will involve the deployment of a device and app in family homes for 6 month periods. The device can be seen in the picture below, along with the app.
